Yes, and download option

After new browser was introduced in Symbian Anna, I don't think this request is that relevant anymore. It would still be nice to have, but not that critical. I am moving my vote to elsewhere.

Open links in tweets in Opera mobile would still be extremely nice feature...
Or Opera Mobile of course. This is very necessary.

Opera Mobile too.
i need new applications for nokia nseries(n86 8mp v:30.009)
Yes, if the phone supports the option to change the default browser - then Gravity should be programmed to respect that configuration item.
If not GWT (Google Mobile Proxy), then maybe Instapaper's mobilizer??
http://www.instapaper.com/m and ?u=%foo -> WIN!!
According to http://gravityhelp.wordpress.com/faq-frequently-asked-questions-2/faq-2-very-frequent-questions/ @janole said, that this is not possible.
Pity. Stupid Symbian.
@bazbt3 This debate is really going away from the feature it should be about, which is opening links in mobile Operas.
I just want to say that this bothers me too.
If it helps to resolve my problem, great! If not, I won't kill myself.
I don't really care about how hard or even possible is to do it.
That said, I can understand it is hard or even not possible.
But feasibility's not in a question here, it's up to @janole.
"The FAQ site" should be updated if it's already clear, that it's impossible. This doesn't necessarily mean that all hope is lost: "Apparently it’s impossible due to S60 operating system restrictions." (look up http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/apparently)
Which is correct considering what @janole said: "I think it's not possible to implement this but I will check it out and let you know. Might take some time, though." I can't see any update anywhere.
P.S.: If you want to debate about FAQ site/help etc. there is or can be created a more appropriate place to do it.
(I can't see my twitter name @benabraham anywhere)
@bazbt3 Thanks for you answer but I am not asking a question. I'm just saying that this is important to me. That's why this site is up. And besides votes I gave to this feature I added Opera Mobile as yet another browser that I'd like to have supported for this feature.
I understand that this is not easy or may be even possible to resolve but I don't really care at this point if it's possible or not. That's up to @janole to find out.
Nobody mentioned Opera Mobile, the best full browser for S60 these days.
If opera is not possible, at least ability to open the URL via gwt proxy would make many pages more friendly for the built-in browser:

@localhost that's a pretty cool idea... but i think nokia wouldn't let them, i think there isn't an api to do such thing...
still hope to get this
You could ask Opera to help you out here. Could be a great boost for their software on Nokia devices if this was implemented.

Opera Mobile beta 10 is nice, so I'd probably like the option to open in this...
